The word Clary comes from the latin Clarus, meaning 'Clear.' Its aroma is warm, camphoraceous, bittersweet, musty and somewhat spicy. The anti-spasmodic and analgesic actions of Clary Sage (like Lavender) are ideal for muscular stiffness and spasm, headache and migraine.
